  I dropped in to inquire about buying a membership. When I arrived at the desk, I simply asked if the young man (Anthony) spoke English. He appeared put off by the question, so I immediately told him in French that it was alright, I spoke French, but added I would have liked to be served in English. He took offence to that and replied that this is Quebec and I should expect to be served in French! That was very wrong of him.....he is serving the public and should not be displaying his political views! I started to speak then changed my mind, and spun around angered by his remark and headed for the door. But I did tell him that I had simply inquired if I could be served in English as with my doctors or anything else important, I wanted to be sure to understand all instructions completely. I also let him know that I speak French, English and German and that his attitude was only hurting himself as I can travel anywhere and he would struggle. I also asked to speak to the owner, to which he replied was not there, he would not give me the owner's telephone number, so I got a business card with the owner's name on it and got the employee's name, which he was very smug and happy to give me, feeling very confident that the owner would back him up. The Anti-Anglophone does not even realize that he has an English name....Anthony...not Antoine..... Anyhow, I do hope the owner has more sense, and I do intend to attempt to contact him to make a complaint.

  J'aime bien le Gogym, bel accueil, le personnel y est sympathique et l'équipement est récent. Le tout est disposé d'une façon fonctionnelle.
